Here I present you some of the recommended private tours, with a description and an approximate duration of the tour. Of course you have always the option to organize your own customized private tour.

Tours Acropolis and Museum

The tour starts on the pedestrian street in front of the New Acropolis Museum, in order to visit first the unique museum that houses the findings and the sculptures of the Acropolis. After the museum we will walk by the Ancient Theatre of Athens and the Herodeion, in order to visit the Acropolis. At the end of our tour we finish close to Plaka, the old town, which is the perfect place for souvenir-shopping, or to enjoy your meal and a coffee.

Acropolis and Ancient Agora

The tour starts at the parking lot of the “Dionysos” restaurant at the foot of the Acropolis. After our visit of the Acropolis we will move on to visit the Ancient Agora of Athens, the cradle of Democracy. At the end of our tour we finish close to Plaka, the old town, which is the perfect place for souvenir-shopping, or to enjoy your meal and a coffee.

Acropolis and Plaka

Walking Tour

The tour starts at the parking lot of the “Dionysos” restaurant at the foot of the Acropolis. After the Acropolis we will walk by the Herodeion and the Ancient Theatre of Athens. We continue walking towards Hadrian’s Arch and the Temple of Zeus. From there we will move on to the Old Olympic Stadium and through the National Garden to the Parliament building and the Monument of the Unknown Soldier in order to watch the changing of the Guards. The tour finishes at Syntagma square, close to a shopping area and Plaka.

Duration: approximately 5 hours.
